LIR-DA13A is out of production. Try model LIR-DA13S.01 instead.
Optoelectronic absolute encoder with a measuring rod.
The device converts the movement of the controlled object into a digital code that corresponds to the length of the movement relative to the starting point. For an absolute encoder, the code value is a linear discrete function of the rod position. Therefore, in case of failures caused by the electrical interference, exceeding the permissible motion speed, etc., the code value is restored for the same position after the specified factors are eliminated.
Structurally, it is a spring-loaded linear guide with a glass code scale, to which a rod with a corundum tip with a radius of 14 mm is rigidly connected.
Conversion range: from -5 to 5 mm.
Rod stroke: ≥10.5 mm.
Readout resolution: 0.5 or 1 µm.
Bit depth: 15 bits.
Selectable data transfer protocols: SSI (RS422), Modbus ASCII, Modbus RTU.
Permissible error: ±2.5 µm at a nominal temperature of 20°C.
LIR-DA13A is normally used as part of bench and testing equipment for measuring or monitoring dimensions and deviations from a specified geometric shape of a part, as well as the relative position of surfaces.
