Optoelectronic incremental encoder with a measuring rod. It is a modern and more accurate analogue of the well-known dial indicator (readhead).
Structurally, it is a spring-loaded linear guide with a glass raster scale, to which a rod with a corundum tip is rigidly connected. The rod stroke is 10 mm (elastic cuff, IP65 protection degree) or 20 mm (no cuff, IP50 protection degree).
Readout resolution: from 0.1 to 10 µm.
Permissible error: ±0.5 µm or ±1 µm at a nominal temperature of 20°C.
Unlike LIR-15.01, the cable exits from the side opposite to the rod.
LIR-14.01 is normally used as part of bench and testing equipment for measuring or monitoring dimensions and deviations from a specified geometric shape of a part, as well as the relative position of surfaces. Together with LIR-915, LIR-917, LIR-919 interface modules it can form a measuring system for recording changes in the linear size of a controlled object depending on external influencing factors.
