Normalizing Converter (interpolator) LIR-960 is designed to convert a sinusoidal quadrature signals of incremental encoders of the type SN (~1 In) or ST (~11 áa) in the rectangular quadrature signals of the type PI for further processing in the systems the CNC and DRO. It is also possible to convert signals of the type ST (~11 áa) to SN (~1 In).
the Conversion of a sinusoidal signal in the pulse is executed with the given interpolation factor. The discrete transform can be calculated as a period of the input sinusoidal signal D divided by 4K, where K is the interpolation factor. LIR-960 also converts the signal of the reference marks of length D in the rectangular reference pulse length D/(4K), with a standard phase position relative to the rectangular quadrature output signals.
the Converter is designed in a metal case of cylindrical shape with two connectors on the ends. Plug the "INPUT" socket РС10ТВ connector "OUT" - plug РС10ТВ.
LIRE-960 often used to connect old encoders with sinusoidal output signals to the modern digital readout that works with TTL sensors.
